Above is inset from portfolio-05. Rene in the personification of the Knight LeCueur has begun the search for his true love.

This gives us some insight as to how Rene viewed himself ~~~ probably in his teens or twenties. ~~~ Full views of these and all seventeen Illuminations can be found in King Rene's "Book of Love"
