This gives us some insight as to how Rene viewed himself ~~~ probably in his teens or twenties. ~~~ Full views of these and all seventeen Illuminations can be found in King Rene's "Book of Love"

Rene and his second wife Jeanne were married in September of 1454.
Rene was now 45 years old and his young bride was 21 years
